In bright sunshine Longparish batted first, Michael Taplin and Dan Pomroy putting on 60 before retirement in the tenth over. Brad Aldridge and Charles Sherwood increasing the rate further with Aldridge biffing a quick 26 and Sherwood 18, as Longparish finished on 134 for 4 from their twenty overs. In reply Amport were unlucky to lose Sam Woodward to a run out early in the innings. Ben Gardner steadied the ship briefly for Amport before being bowled by Owen Carine. Toby Dixon stepped up to take three wickets for fifteen runs including the wicket of Amport top score L Bowdner for 21. William de Cani also chipped in with three wickets for four runs as Amport were dismissed for 79 runs.
