A talented Ropley side batted first and posted a total of 116 for 4, Tom Stennat 30 and Edward Burridge 23 coupled with a large amount of extras the chief contributors to the to the total. Brad Aldridge the pick of the Longparish bowlers with 1 for 9 from 4. In reply Longparish lost an early wicket but rallied through Ollie Lee and captain Wiliam de Cani who both reached 30 and retirement against some fiery bowling from Ropley’s Tom Stennant. Andy Roberts 23 and George Merison 11 continued to pick up runs as Longparish passed the Ropley total in the 16th over for the loss of only one wicket.
